Simple to start, easy to stay in control

You choose the workers who support you. Inaro employs the worker, bills your plan manager or you directly, and runs the payroll. Here's exactly how it works, whichever side you're on.

Finding and booking support

Five steps from first enquiry to a support team that genuinely fits your life.

1

Get in touch and tell us a little about the support you're looking for. Our team will help you get started — there's no cost and no obligation to continue.

2

Set up your profile

Describe your routine, the support you need, your interests and what makes a worker a good fit for you. The more we know, the better the match.

3

Browse support workers

Explore profiles of workers near you. See their experience, skills, languages, interests and reviews, and shortlist anyone who stands out.

4

Connect and meet

Message your shortlist, ask questions, and arrange a phone chat or meet-and-greet. Take all the time you need before deciding.

5

Book and review

Confirm the times that suit you and your support begins. Rebook the workers you love, adjust as life changes, and leave reviews to help others.

You stay in control

No lock-in contracts. Change your workers, hours or support whenever you need to — Inaro works around you, not the other way around.

Getting set up and getting matched

From sign-up to your first booking, here's the path you'll follow as a support worker.

1

Tell us about your experience, your availability and the kinds of support you'd like to provide.

2

Verification & checks

We'll guide you through identity verification, screening, and the checks needed to support people safely.

3

Create your profile

Showcase your skills, experience, interests and personality so the right clients can find and choose you.

4

Get matched

Receive booking requests and browse opportunities that suit your skills, area and availability.

5

Deliver support & get paid through payroll

Provide great support and complete the shift. Log your hours in the Inaro app. Inaro invoices the participant or their plan manager, runs payroll fortnightly, and pays your wage (plus super, leave accrual and any penalty rates) straight into your bank account. No invoicing, no chasing, no tax to lodge yourself.

Build your reputation

Great support earns great reviews — and reviews help more participants choose you, so you can build the schedule you want.

More for workers

What Inaro does behind the scenes

Because Inaro is the employer, we take on the heavy lifting — so participants get a single point of contact and workers get a real wage.

Service Agreement

A clear, NDIS-aligned Service Agreement between you and Inaro that sets out what support is being provided, when, and what we'll bill.

Billing handled

Inaro invoices you direct (self-managed) or your plan manager (plan-managed). One pay-period invoice, with the right line items and the right rates.

Safety & screening

NDIS Worker Screening, Code of Conduct and Worker Orientation Module are all verified before a worker can take a single booking. Incident management and complaints under the NDIS Practice Standards.

Messaging & scheduling

Message, plan and confirm bookings in one place, with reminders so nothing slips through the cracks.

Support when you need it

A friendly team is on hand for questions, changes, or help if something doesn't go to plan.

A clear way to raise concerns

If something isn't right, there's a straightforward process to raise it and have it taken seriously.

How it works — your questions

How long does it take to get started?

Registering your interest takes only a few minutes. Setting up a profile and, for workers, completing checks can take a little longer — our team will keep you informed and help things move as smoothly as possible.

Is there a cost to join?

For participants: zero sign-up fee, no platform fee on top of your support. You pay below the NDIS cap on every shift — $64/hr for standard weekday support (cap $70.23), ~9% under the cap on every other band. For support workers: working with Inaro is a paid, employed role — there's no fee to join, you're paid a SCHADS-aligned wage from your first shift. See the Pricing pages for the full picture.

Can I change my support worker later?

Yes. You're never tied to one worker. You can book different workers at any time, and our team can help you find a better match if you need one.

What happens if a booking is cancelled?

Life happens, and plans change. Inaro has clear cancellation guidelines so both participants and workers know what to expect. These are explained when you book and are designed to be fair to everyone.

Who do I contact if I need help?

Our support team is just a message or call away. You'll find ways to reach us on the Contact page, and help is built into the platform too.
