Just $64/hr for standard support — below the NDIS cap.

With NDIS pricing under pressure, we've made a choice: Inaro bills below the NDIS price-guide cap on every shift, so participants get more hours of support from the same plan budget. Inaro still employs every support worker, with SCHADS-aligned wages, super, leave, $20M insurance and Workers Compensation — all paid out of the lower rate.

  • $64/hr for standard weekday daytime support — ~9% below the NDIS cap of $70.23
  • Below-cap pricing on every band — weekday, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • One invoice from Inaro, not a stack of worker invoices to chase
  • Self-managed and plan-managed plans welcome

Hourly rates for Inaro supports

The rate you see is the rate you pay.

Every rate below sits roughly 9% under the NDIS Pricing Arrangements cap. Standard, Specialised and Complex behaviour-support line items each have their own NDIS cap — we discount each one. Loadings for evenings, weekends, public holidays and overnights follow the price-guide structure, applied to our below-cap base.

Full rate breakdown

The line items most participants book. Specialised and complex behaviour-support line items carry a higher cap — we'll quote you up front before any shift you book against them.

Three support tiers run side-by-side: Standard is the everyday assistance most participants book. Specialised support applies when your plan has Specialised Daily Personal Activities funding (line-item group 0117) and the worker needs additional qualifications. Complex behaviour support applies when there's an authorised positive behaviour support plan in place.

What that one rate covers

Because Inaro employs every support worker, your rate covers a lot more than just the time your worker spends with you.

  • Worker wages, super, leave, Workers Compensation and PAYG — managed by us
  • NDIS Worker Screening, Code of Conduct and Worker Orientation Module — checked before any shift
  • Group $20M public liability and medical malpractice cover
  • Paid worker training, supervision and ongoing professional development
  • Service Agreement, incident management and complaints handling — under the NDIS Practice Standards
  • A real team you can ring when something changes

Which NDIS funding works with Inaro?

  • Self-managed funding — Inaro invoices you direct, you pay us from your bank account, and you claim it back through the NDIS portal.
  • Plan-managed funding — Inaro sends the invoice to your plan manager. They pay us from your plan.
  • Aged Care, TAC, insurance and self-funded — you can also book and pay privately. Inaro invoices you direct, at a rate we agree up front.

Common questions

Does Inaro charge me a separate platform fee?

No. Inaro bills below the NDIS Pricing Arrangements cap on every shift — for standard weekday support, $64/hr versus the $70.23 cap (~9% saving). The worker's wage, super, insurance, training and our admin all come out of that lower rate. No platform fee on top.

How is the rate decided?

The NDIS Pricing Arrangements (price guide), updated by the NDIA each year, sets the cap. Inaro prices each band approximately 9% below that cap — so $64/hr for standard weekday support (cap $70.23), $89.95 Saturday (cap $98.83), $142 public holiday (cap $156.03), and so on. With proposed NDIS pricing changes putting plans under pressure, this is our way of helping your funding go further.

What if I'm NDIA-managed?

Inaro currently works with plan-managed and self-managed participants. If your plan is NDIA-managed, you'd need to either switch to plan-managed or self-managed (which you can request at your next plan review) or use a registered provider instead. Have a chat with your support coordinator if you're not sure.

Who sends me the invoice?

Inaro does — one invoice per pay period, listing the shifts and line items. Your worker doesn't send you a separate invoice; they're employed by Inaro and get paid through our payroll.

Who pays the support worker?

Inaro does, through fortnightly payroll — PAYG tax, super, leave loading and Workers Compensation all included. You don't pay the worker direct.

What happens if I cancel?

The NDIS short-notice cancellation rules apply. Your Service Agreement with Inaro sets out the notice periods and cancellation policy.

Can I use Inaro without NDIS funding?

Yes — we can also support people through Aged Care, TAC, insurance-based and privately self-funded arrangements. Inaro invoices you direct, at a rate we'll agree up front.

Ready to find your support worker?

Meet a few of our workers, pick the ones you click with, and let Inaro handle the paperwork. No platform fee on top of the NDIS rate.
