Support should belong to the person receiving it
Inaro was created on a simple conviction: people with disability deserve genuine choice over who supports them — and support workers deserve a real wage, real entitlements, and a team that backs them in. So we built a service where every worker is employed, paid fairly and supported to do their best work.
To connect people with disability and support workers in relationships built on choice, trust and respect — and to make great support easier to find for everyone.
Built around a better idea of support
Too often, support is something that's arranged for people rather than with them — a roster to accept, a worker who changes week to week, a system that can feel impersonal at exactly the moments that should feel human.
We believe it can work differently. When a person can choose their own support workers, meet them first, and keep the ones they click with, support stops being a service and starts being a relationship. Routines feel calmer. Confidence grows. Good days happen more often.
Inaro Support exists to make that the norm — to put choice and control in the hands of participants, and to give support workers the flexibility and respect their work deserves.
The meaning behind our name
The name Inaro carries the meaning of light, warmth and radiance. It reflects what we hope every match on our platform brings — a little more brightness, comfort and connection to someone's everyday life.
What guides every decision we make
These aren't words on a wall. They're the test we hold every part of Inaro against.
The person decides
Choice and control aren't features to us — they're the point. The person receiving support leads, and we follow.
Respect and dignity
Every person — participant and worker — is treated with respect. Support is something done with people, never to them.
Relationships matter
The best support grows from familiarity and trust. We design for lasting connections, not one-off transactions.
Safety without compromise
Trust has to be earned and protected. We never treat safety as something to trade off against convenience.
Honest and transparent
Clear pricing, clear processes, clear answers. If something is unclear, that's a problem for us to fix.
Everyone belongs
We're building Inaro to be welcoming and accessible to people of every background, ability and community.
The community we're here for
People with disability
Participants who want real say over who supports them — at home, in the community, and in pursuing the life they choose.
Families & carers
The people who help arrange and coordinate support for someone they love, and who deserve peace of mind doing it.
Support workers
Skilled, caring people who want flexible, meaningful work — and to be valued and supported while they do it.
People who care about getting this right
Inaro Support is built by a team that believes support should be personal, safe and genuinely chosen. We're growing — and we'd love to introduce ourselves properly here soon.
